Timex, U.S. manufacturer of watches, announced an agreement through which manufactured watches luxury Italian brand Salvatore Ferragamo The start of the Signature Relojeria Timex dates back to 1854. On that date known and marketed under the brand name watches Waterbury manufacturing desktop. In 1900 developed the famous Clock Yankee Pocket Watch, which had as its selling price a dollar. The firm sold 40 million watches and among its partners was the best-known American writer Mark Twain. In 1920 the U.S. army asked the brand to make changes on the well-known as “dollar watch” to fit a standard wrist watch that could use the soldiers. During World War II, the firm changed its name to Timex Corporation and was a supplier of large scale U.S. Army, and forces ALIDES. In 1950 the firm became very popular with the issuance of some commercial where the clocks are subjected to a series of extreme tests. In 1960, Timex Watches started selling low-cost watches for women and a line of electric clocks with very affordable prices for the industry and De Young Fashion. In 1970, with the mass marketing of Japanese and Asian digital clocks, few houses were able to watch and be competitive among them, the only American company that survived the invasion of quartz was Timex. Timex launched in 1986 to market its famous model Timex Ironman Watch including concepts useful for athletes of high competition. In 1992, Timex Watches invented and developed a lighting system known as electro-luminescent INDIGLO ® with an incredible contrast and providing savings on the battery of the clock.
